It’s autumn now 🍂🍄 so it’s time for a delicious new Vintersol cocktail! Named "Far From the Tree”, this one is inspired by the recent apple harvest 🍏🍎 and it tastes just right for this time of year. To make your own: 50ml No.2 Aquavit 50ml Apple Juice 25ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur Juice of 1/4 lime Shake over ice, strain into martini glass, and garnish with an apple fan. At Vintersol Distillery we love to experiment! 👨🔬 Traditionally, aquavit is barrel-aged in port or sherry casks, but we’re curious about how the flavours would develop in a different environment. We’re currently trialling ageing our No.1 Original Aquavit using chips from whisky casks vs. chips from medium char French oak.
