After months of explaining how aquavit is 'like Scandinavia’s answer to gin', we are thrilled to announce the launch of Broen Gin! Our distiller Sasha has worked hard to create a spirit that spans the gap between London dry gin and Scandinavian aquavit, resulting in something unique that showcases the best of both worlds. Broen (meaning 'the bridge' in Danish) is a gin by virtue of its juniper-forward profile, and offers classic notes of pine, earth, autumn fruit, and sweet citrus, all underpinned by the characteristic caraway spice and lingering warmth of a traditional aquavit. We’ve (repeatedly) taste tested it as a team, and it is exceptionally smooth and versatile, beautiful neat or with tonic, and can be used in any number of classic gin or aquavit cocktails.
